Our First Date
Our journey began quietly in 2021, serving side-by-side during the heavy days of the Covid-19 pandemic. What started as a simple, shared connection truly blossomed in 2023 at the WL-Singers gathering in Puncak. It was there that we finally connected on a deeper level, and soon after, we took a leap of faith together—we began dating.
Rooted in Service
From the moment we started dating, our relationship was firmly rooted in faith. As singers in GSKI Rehobot, we spent countless hours doing what we love most: praising and worshiping God to glorify His Name. This shared purpose became the true measure of our compatibility and the beautiful foundation of our life together.
Shared Adventures
Outside of ministry, we explored the world around us. Away from the city's noise, we found our natural rhythm hiking the winding trails of Sentul. It was in the quiet beauty of nature that our bond deepened. Every challenging trek became a simple metaphor for our life: supporting each other on the steep climbs, pausing to appreciate the stunning views, and always finishing the journey side-by-side.
The Beautiful Weaving
Like every real story, ours wasn’t without its trials. We chose to step back and focus on our individual paths for a few months. Yet, through that season of distance, we now see that God was quietly weaving His most beautiful plan.
That time apart was essential—a season of reflection and growth that shaped us into better, more mature versions of ourselves, ready to love more deeply and truly.
In His perfect time, our paths inevitably crossed again.
We found each other in the midst of life’s challenges, and we knew, without a doubt, that we were meant to be.
