First Encounter
Their story began on Bumble, when Maria was using the travel feature while virtually exploring the United States. It started playfully—Maria made Raymond put in extra effort, even leading to a lighthearted promise to send her flowers. From simple conversations to long talks across time zones, they slowly got to know each other and found comfort in one another.
First Date
As time went by, their connection grew stronger despite the distance. Texts turned into phone calls, and soon video calls became part of their daily routine. They shared stories, exchanged thoughtful surprises like birthday flowers, and even celebrated special moments like Valentine’s Day from afar. Eventually, they planned their first meeting in Jakarta, where they spent time exploring places together and deepening their bond.
Marriage
Their journey continued when Maria visited the United States, meeting Robert’s family and experiencing snow for the first time—a dream come true with Raymond by her side. Through all the moments they shared, they realized their love was stronger together than apart. No longer wanting a long-distance relationship, they chose to begin a new chapter as husband and wife, walking side by side for the rest of their lives.
